Anthony Cinque

Anthony is a Partner of CE Family Lawyers and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist having practised exclusively in family law since 1993.

Prior to practising exclusively in family law, Anthony worked extensively in the commercial field including complex commercial and financial litigation. Anthony has an understanding of complex corporate structures including family trusts, companies and partnerships which gives him a unique understanding and skill in dealing with financial and property matters. Anthony is also able to liaise constructively with our extensive network of accountants, valuers and financial investigators in the identification, investigation and valuation of assets in Australia and overseas.

Anthony has also developed a particular expertise in preparation of documents to protect assets before and during marriage and after separation, including Financial Agreements.

Anthony has a strong interest in the area of primary dispute resolution and the process of mediation and counselling to resolve disputes. Anthony holds the Primary Dispute Resolution Portfolio on the Family Law Section Executive of the Law Institute of Victoria and he is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Court Practice Committee.

  


David Edney

David is a Partner of CE Family Lawyers and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist having practised exclusively in family law since 1990.

An important part of David's expertise is representing children in Court proceedings as a Child Representative. This expertise gives David a unique understanding of the effect of separation on children and on the importance of achieving the best possible outcome for children after separation.

David has a background in accounting and economics which is in invaluable in advising clients regarding corporate structures and business and financial issues after separation.

David's experience, expertise and profile in family law have led to his involvement in a number of groups and organizations including:

  • Chairperson of Children & Youth Issues Sub Committee (Law Institute of Victoria).
  • Member of Family Law Specialisation Advisory Committee.
  • Board Member of Family Life (Community based counselling and mediation organization).
  


Jane Libbis

Jane is a Partner of CE Family Lawyers and has broad experience in children's matters, including matters involving relocation of children and financial matters. She also has a particular interest in supporting clients through the emotional side of family law and has a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from Swinburne University.

Prior to commencing with CE Family Lawyers, Jane worked extensively in Family Law and also in other areas including Employment Law, Wills and Estates, Building Disputes and Criminal Law.

Jane is a member of the Family Law section of the Law Institute of Victoria and holds the domestic violence portfolio on the Family Law Executive.   Jane is also a member of the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia and has been trained in Collaborative Law.

  


Tamara Kay

Tamara practises exclusively in Family Law at CE Family Lawyers.

Prior to commencing with CE Family Lawyers, Tamara worked extensively in Family Law and also in other areas including Administrative Law, Commercial Litigation, Commercial (Corporate) Law and Criminal Law in Australia and China. Tamara speaks conversational German, Mandarin and French.

Tamara has experience in a broad range of Family Law matters and has particular interest in property matters.
Tamara is a member of the Family Law section of the Law Institute of Victoria and a member of its Court Practice Committee.

Tamara also has an interest in Community Law and has volunteered with the St Kilda Legal Service, Sacred Heart Mission, Springvale Legal Service, AMES and has participated in a mentor program with the Deputy Chief Magistrate of Victoria.

  


Ilana Rochwerger

Ilana has practiced exclusively in Family Law throughout her career and has extensive experience in a wide range of children's and financial matters. 

Ilana has researched and written various papers and presentations on topics such as Financial Agreements and Ethics in Family Law.  She also has extensive experience and interest in working with children and young people and so has a particular interest in children's matters. 

Ilana is a volunteer lawyer at the St Kilda Legal Service and has a keen interest in assisting in the wider community.  She is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. 

  


Caroline Paterson

Caroline practises exclusively in family law and is a solicitor at CE Family Lawyers. Caroline graduated from Monash University in 2003. She is currently undertaking further study towards a Master of Laws. Caroline has been practising full time as a solicitor since April 2004.

Prior to specialising in family law, Caroline obtained valuable experience in commercial law, litigation, property law and wills. This background has given Caroline a broad understanding of some of the other issues that face couples when they separate.

Caroline is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. She also works as a volunteer solicitor at the Fitzroy Legal Service Family Law Clinic.
